Public speaking. Always a spot where I get nervous. I remember previous work colleague reminding me, just picture everyone naked. I still don’t know how that can help me calm my nerves. Communication day allowed students to practice public speaking, what makes a good presentation and what makes a bad presentation.

It was advised speakers must communicate directly to the audience. Make eye contact and know where you are within the presentation. Have open body language as this helps self-confidence and maintains others attention. Material must be systematic to support the idea as this can create a compelling and factual statement. Visual presentations are an attribute as it assists to deliver the message help create an experience to who you are presenting it to.

In the afternoon ABBA could not attend the rest of the day due to writing and submitting reports to the project commissioner, whereas POMO and SAMPO focused on professional writing.
