Student's debate

This week’s hot topic in the reading circle was world news (business). Students of Haaga-Helia, were to debate the hottest current issues in the world politics and business. These issues were broken into three debates; Protectionism V's Globalisation, Brexit V's European integration and

Sharing Economy V's traditional industries.

Each reading circle group were to find facts for their topic from current news and gather information about the characteristics, pros and cons of the topic from a political and business view. Cases were strongly analysed and in detail. Groups were to also study the opposing side for a strong argumentation.

This debate was irrelevant if you are or are not a supporter of the topic in real life. The overall focus was learning and to understand about major issues and the state of the world we are in today.
