My rant!

Thursday 23 March, students who commenced their studies at Haaga-Helia Porvoo campus this year, were disseminated with an email relating to weekly reading circles: "your wishes have been heard".

I was unsure what the email was about but it soon became clear. The mixed group which I have worked with complement one another and we have created a respectful and relaxed environment. Why are others having difficulties? Are there communication problems? Whilst conducting multiple reconnaissance’s and snooping around... Ok, I messaged other students and I was informed that in other groups students are not tolerating each other..... I'm starting to wonder why lecturers are tolerating this? Is this a day care center? should these students be given pacifiers?

University isn't school, but a learning environment to prepare everyone for the real world (work). If there is a problem, communicate. Raise the issue, rectify the problem and don't let others be affected in your altercations. Remember, the career you chose will be managing others and not asking assistance from the CEO to fix the problem.

1. Work it out - you're a future manager

2. Listen to each other

3.Identify the real issue (if there is a real issue)

4. Find a solution

5. If a solution cannot be found... then seek advice from other students

If this cannot be achieved, then seek guidance.

Rant Over
