Two days in Milan
Upon arrival to Milan, our first task was to find a luggage drop off point as we were going to visit Volandia, Italian aviation museum. We were lost. After 45 minutes of sourcing free WIFI, we found our directions and ventured, all of a sudden, the rain came. Why did I forget my umbrella? Upon arrival at Volandia, we were greeted by two professional aviation enthusiasts who revealed much passion of aviation history. The only part which was frustrating was people telling everyone how hungry they were as the information we were being presented was amazing. How on earth can two people hold so much knowledge?

For the next day and a half, ABBA study trip was free time as 25 April was Italy day, a national holiday and many organisations had Monday 24 April off also. During this free time, I had the ability to see Parco Basiliche, Olmetto- Piazza Vetra, Milan Cathedral, Montenapoleone etc. I was walking around all the iconic buildings of Milan. The next morning (25 April), we discovered two or three members of our study trip had some possessions stolen at the backpackers. Note to all, if you’re staying at backpackers, please put all your possessions in your locker and not under your bed so they do not get stolen.
